Prom & SafeGrad 2013
June 15-June 16, 2013 from 5pm to 5 am at City Centre Park in Langford, British Columbia

What Is SafeGrad?

SafeGrad is defined as a fun-filled event to celebrate the completion of your formal public education K to 12. This high class event will have impressive entertainment, magnificent food, spectacular activities and awesome prizes that no-one will want to miss! It will be an enjoyable celebration focusing on respect for self and others.

This is a zero tolerance event. There will be a breathalyzer at the front door. (Alcohol or drug use will not be permitted at this event.)

April 3 O Canada/Grad Song auditions

April 5 Prom Ticket Design Contest deadline

April 9 Grad Gown form #1 due + $66 Graduation Ceremony Fee *

April 15-May 10 Prom Tickets on Sale

April 16 Ceremony reservations for 11 am

April 23 Ceremony reservations for 3 pm

May 3 Ceremony Comment form #2 due **

May 10 Last day to buy Prom tickets **EXTENDED**

May 13-17 Valedictorian nomination week

May 17 Grad Status Confirmation Date

May 24 Last day to buy Prom/SafeGrad tickets


June 6-7 Bring in change of clothes & pick up ticket
June 7, 10, 13 Final Prom info out to parents

June 15 Prom Celebration (5 pm start)

June 16 SafeGrad Celebration (5 am end)


June 17 11 am Rehearsal (UVic 9:30-10:30am)

June 17 3 pm Rehearsal (UVic 11 am-noon)


June 22 Graduation Ceremony (11 am or 3 pm)

Prom Ticket Information

Prom tickets will be on sale from April 15th to May 24th in the school office. Cost is $75 per ticket. Pay by cash, cheque, VISA or MasterCard. Prom form must be signed by a parent.

Prom ticket includes full entry to Prom & SafeGrad at City Centre Park in Langford including dinner, snacks, breakfast, beverages, all Prom and all SafeGrad activities.

Prom guests require a prom ticket. Guests must be approved by school administration and the guest form is to be signed by your parent.

3:00 pm Group Photo Opportunity at Royal Roads

PROM:
5 pm Prom Doors Open
6:30 pm Dinner
7:30 pm Dance Begins & Casino Opens
11:30 pm Prom Dance Ends
11:30 to midnight Transition (Grads Get Changed)

SAFEGRAD:
Midnight Snacks served
Midnight to 3:30 pm SafeGrad Activities Begin
12:30 am Bowling Begins
2:30 am Casino Closes
3:30 am Bowling Ends & Breakfast Begins
4 am Prizes Begin
5 am Wind Down & Grand Prize ($1000)
